As one of the most qualified PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers in Guanacaste, he is thrilled to share his vast knowledge of 23 PADI Specialties. His knowledge isn't solely for trained and experienced divers but also for divers of all ages and skill levels, including children and clients new to diving with no prior experience. His main focus is providing the best client experience possible at the highest level of safety. He hopes you join him soon to enjoy the amazing world under the sea!
Hannah will now be running our office, keeping everything running smoothly both above and below the water. With over 20 years as a PADI Member and the experience of a PADI Staff Instructor, she brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and passion for diving. Whether she’s organizing trips, supporting students, or sharing her diving wisdom, Hannah’s dedication to the underwater world is truly inspiring. Born and raised in Heredia, Costa Rica, Josue moved to Guanacaste eight years ago in search of the ocean—and never looked back. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a deep passion for diving, evolving into a full-time career beneath the waves. Through years of exploring Costa Rica’s Pacific waters, Josue has built strong local knowledge, solid technical skills, and a deep respect for the marine world. As a dive instructor, he is driven by adventure, safety, and the desire to inspire others to discover the ocean with confidence, awareness, and excitement.

Originally from the beautiful island of Mallorca, Spain, José has been sharing his passion for the ocean as a PADI Open Water Instructor here in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. His professionalism, charisma, and unmistakable Spanish energy make every dive an unforgettable experience. José is known for his knowledge, calm approach, and strong focus on safety, always ensuring his students feel confident and inspired underwater. We’re very happy to welcome Sebastián to the Under the Sea Diving team. Born in Colombia and raised in Costa Rica, Sebastián fell in love with the ocean during his very first dive at just 8 years old. That early connection never faded and grew alongside other passions such as archaeology and photography. Sebastián is currently a PADI and SSI Diving Instructor with experience diving in the Pacific Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Red Sea, and cenotes. He’s passionate about continuing to travel, discovering new dive sites, and constantly learning and growing as a diver and instructor. Sebastián truly believes that if everyone experienced diving at least once in their life, the world would be a better place — because we would all take better care of our oceans. “I look forward to diving with you and sharing the wonderful diving experiences life has given us!” – Sebastián.
We’re thrilled to announce that Ariel I is finished and in the water, ready to elevate your dive days. Ariel I is designed for spacious, comfortable diving days — the roomy open center makes gearing up and moving around effortless, with plenty of bench seating and shaded areas for relaxing between dives. Scuba tanks are neatly stowed along the sides, leaving the middle clear for easy entry and exit and gear staging. Powered by two big outboard motors, Ariel I reaches dive sites quickly and smoothly, so you spend more time underwater and less time in transit. The twin-engine setup also provides confident handling and reliability for every trip.
