No, you don't have to be certified to go diving. You can participate in a program called Discover Scuba Diving (DSD), which is designed for beginners. It allows you to experience diving under the direct supervision of a professional instructor in a controlled environment, typically a pool or shallow water. This introductory experience helps you decide if you want to pursue full certification in the future.

Costa Rica is a privileged destination for divers, offering spectacular underwater landscapes shaped by volcanic activity and an incredible diversity of marine life. The Pacific coast is home to dramatic rock formations and underwater structures that attract an abundance of marine species.

Depending on the season and dive site, you may encounter white-tip reef sharks, manta rays, eagle rays, octopus, moray eels, schools of tropical fish, and many other fascinating species. With nutrient-rich Pacific waters supporting a thriving ecosystem, every dive offers the possibility of an unforgettable encounter.

    Basic swimming skills are required.

Yes you can. If you are only Open Water certified we do require a local dive before taking you to Bat Islands. Bat Islands can be somewhat challenging for entry level divers and we want to ensure you are not only prepared but have the best and safest experience.

Groups are limited to a maximum of 4 divers per dive professional. Larger groups can be accommodated when traveling together, with additional qualified dive professionals assisting as needed.

We're committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Scuba diving and snorkeling are offered on separate dedicated trips, ensuring each activity is tailored to our guests' needs.
